Welcome to the ASI Department
Adventist-laymen's Services & Industries (ASI) is a membership-based organization of Seventh-day Adventist laypeople who enthusiastically participate in the church's worldwide mission to serve others and to share the good news of God's love. We live and work to promote a Christ-centered lifestyle by "Sharing Christ in the Marketplace" —through education, health programs, community services and evangelism. The ASI organization exists to nurture its members and challenge them to be completely focused on Christ as they seek to represent Him to a world in need.

CHAPTERS
ASI is divided into local chapters based in the various unions of the North American Division of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. While ASI membership is held at the national level, local chapters hold their own regional conventions in the spring, along with numerous meetings and rallies. For information on ASI chapters in other areas of the world, visit ASI Abroad.
Southern Union (is part of eight other chapters) A fall meeting will be held November 11–12, 2011, in West Palm Beach, Florida. A spring meeting will be held April 12–14, 2012, in Dalton, Georgia. Visit the ASI Southern Union website

PROJECTS
At each annual ASI International Convention, ASI collects a special projects offering that is used to sponsor 40+ preselected ministry projects. Ministries must apply for sponsorship on or before December 31 of the prior year. Each project ministry is required to provide progress reports to ASI, which allows ASI leadership and members to verify that the funds are being used in a timely manner and for the originally designated purpose.

CONVENTION
Each year at the ASI International Convention, ASI members, supporters, and friends gather to encourage one another and exchange ideas vital to their lay-driven ministry goals. The annual convention is an energetic, inspiring affair where networks are formed and plans are made that one individual or institution could never accomplish alone. Those who attend the convention return to their home churches inspired spiritually and equipped to start lay outreach efforts in their own workplaces and communities. Best of all, eternal friendships are formed.
