Adventist Community Services Collaboration for Compassion is designed to help leaders and members learn more about connecting with their communities. This conference offers certification in Youth Empowered to Serve (Y.E.S.), Disaster Response, Tutoring/Mentoring, Crisis Care Network, Community Development, and Elder Care Programs. Attendees will participate in actual hands-on practice in community endeavors in the city of Orlando.
Who should attend: This program will be specifically targeted to youth, your pastors, church leaders, members and interested persons in the community.
What to Expect:
Experiencing Discipleship Have you ever felt that there is something missing from your Sabbath School Class? Participants will experience service through Sabbath School, participate in small groups, and be engaged in a knowledge building discussion. Even if you are not attending a track during the convention, we invite you to attend what is sure to be an inspirational experience, where we will attempt to answer the question What role does Sabbath School play in the development of Disciples?

This training program is designed to equip nonprofit leaders with the practical skills and perspectives they need to operate effectively by emphasizing the distinctive character of nonprofit operations and the collaborative nature of modern problem-solving.
The Nonprofit Leadership Certification Program is a two-level training designed for current or prospective nonprofit staff engaged in or planning to engage in leadership within their institutions, Union and Conference leaders, pastors, social service workers and community leaders who work closely with nonprofit organizations. This training is provided as a partnership among Columbia Union College Center for Metropolitan Ministry, Andrews University, North American Division (NAD) Adventist Community Services, Philanthropic Services for Institutions, General Conference Sabbath School/Personal Ministries, Adventist World Radio and Adventist Risk Management.
