The Carolina Conference invites each local church to participate in screening all volunteers who work in Children's/Youth Ministries.  The following documents provided by the North American Division will assist in facilitating volunteer screening.

The local church will need to set up a committee to review the forms that are submitted. All information is to be kept at the local level in a secure location, not mailed to the Carolina Conference. This is a different process than what Pathfinder and Adventurer clubs follow. There are specific screening forms that are mailed to the conference office for those two ministries.

          for the local church/school screening committee

• Volunteer Ministry Information Form

          to be completed by each volunteer, returned to the committee for review, and kept in confidential file at the local church/school

• Code of Conduct

          to be completed by each volunteer, original to be returned to the committee and a copy kept by the volunteer
