Exploring the Cosmic Conflict

Posted on May 29, 2009

Ty Gibson’s afternoon seminar reveals the character of God in the cosmic confl ict of good and evil. He masterfully sets the stage to make us aware of the signifi cant contrast between the mission of God and His heavenly hosts, and Satan’s pseudo-successful attempt in completing his. Gibson teaches that power does not rest in a hierarchical structure, but in a life of humility and unity with others. Every day there are battles seen and unseen waged to protect our desire to be like Christ and preserve the hope for eternity that lies within us.

Satan’s snares include manipulation and deception that make us believe we are worthless and unforgivable when we’ve sinned. Gibson said the more cloaked in disguise the Devil is, the more lethal he is. However, in this amazing confl ict we can be comforted in knowing God will give us everything we need to stand strong against evil forces.

God’s first line of defense is His unconditional love, which sometimes goes beyond human comprehension. If we can develop this characteristic, it gives God the authority in our lives. Another defense is freedom of choice. God values our freedom because without it our capacity to love would not reach its utmost potential. Completing this perfect defense strategy is God’s grace and mercy.

Gibson’s seminars introduce you to a heavenly perspective you may not have known and leave you longing for a deeper relationship with such a powerful and awesome God.
