Asheville North Church Retires Mortgage

Posted on Jan 11, 2010

Eight years after celebrating the first worship service in their newly constructed facility, the Asheville North church congregation has paid off its mortgage on the first phase.

After three years of searching and negotiating on nine separate parcels of property, the project finally fell into place. In September of 2001 the congregation began worshipping in their new church.

An enthusiastic and dedicated church body has now successfully retired the debt before the 2009 year end. The current church facility will become the fellowship hall when the sanctuary, now in the planning stage, is eventually completed.

The charter membership initially forming the new church has almost tripled to 140 current members.  Their greatest joy is in knowing that they are where the Lord wants them to be, and that He has a great work for them in north Asheville.
