Asheville North Church Retires Mortgage

Eight years after celebrating the first worship service in their newly constructed facility, the Asheville North congregation paid off its mortgage on the project's first phase. The charter membership which initially formed the new church has almost tripled to 140 members.

After three years of searching and much negotiating on nine separate parcels of property, all of the pieces fell perfectly into place, like a beautiful puzzle. In September of 2001 the congregation began worshipping in their new church. Because this enthusiastic church body remained faithful and dedicated, they successfully retired their debt before 2009 came to an end. The current church facility will become the fellowship hall when the sanctuary, now in the planning stages, is eventually completed.

The congregation's greatest joy is in knowing that they are where the Lord wants them to be, and that He has a great work for them in north Asheville.
Praise God from who all blessings flow!
