Human Resources
The Human Resources Department operates as a division of the Secretariat Office and serves as a vital support ministry within the Carolina Conference. In alignment with the mission and values of the Church, the department is committed to fostering a Christ-centered workplace that upholds integrity, fairness, and compassion in all employment practices.
Human Resources serves as a trusted resource for guidance on denominational policies, as well as federal and state employment laws, ensuring that all actions reflect both compliance and Christian principles. The department strives to support employees and leadership in a spirit of service, stewardship, and respect.
In addition to providing policy and compliance guidance, the Human Resources Department supports the Conference through a variety of administrative and employee-focused functions, including:
-
Maintaining accurate personnel and benefits records for all employees
-
Managing updates and revisions to the Conference Employee Policy Manual
-
Coordinating new employee onboarding and orientation
-
Providing employment verifications and support services
-
Administering retirement processing and related documentation
-
Facilitating employee transfers and separation processes
Through these responsibilities, the Human Resources Department seeks to serve with excellence, supporting the mission of the Carolina Conference and the individuals who carry it forward.
