Office of the Treasurer
The Treasury Office is responsible for financial affairs that affect the Carolina Conference. In this role, the treasurer carries out the financial directives of the constituency as represented by the Executive Committee. The activities of the Treasury Department include:

Responsibility for the proper use of tithe funds

Preparation of the annual budget report

Monitoring adherence to the budget

Cash flow management

Payroll services for denominational employees

Disbursement of funds according to donation designations

Preparation and presentation of financial statements

Training for church and school treasurers

Care and maintenance of the physical assets of the conference

Safeguarding of all conference assets by appropriate security measures

Internal controls

Insurance
In addition, the treasurer serves on numerous boards and committees of the church to provide input as it relates to finances and other administrative issues.
