Welcome to Community Services

The mission of the Carolina Conference Community Service Department is to follow Christ's example in meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our communities. As Christians, we seek to follow Christ’s example in meeting the needs of others.  And we do so using the spiritual gifts the Lord has given us. Whether through programs offered by our local churches, community service centers, community outreach ministries provided by our churches, the Adventist Development and Relief Agency or through local church food and clothing distribution programs; there lots of ways to get involved in service in the Carolinas. Training, networking and inspiration for this ministry are offered to our members annually in the spring at the area federation meetings and in the fall at the Community Service retreat.  Additional resources are offered through the CS Department Lending Library.  Please check out the menu of information and resources on this web page.
