Adventist Community Services Disaster Response
Adventist Community Services (ACS) is involved in the four phases of disaster response; Preparation, Mitigation, Response and Recovery to ensure volunteers are matched efficiently with needs in a community. The Carolina Conference of Seventh-day Adventists' ACS Disaster Response Ministry assists individuals, families and communities affected by natural and man-made disasters and unforeseen tragedies. ACSDR also engages with local, State and National government partners, such as Emergency Management Teams and FEMA.

Local Disaster Relief Efforts
If your church is deploying a group to Eastern North or South Carolina to assist with relief efforts from Hurricane Florence, please notify the Carolina Conference beforehand by email or phone 704-596-3200
IMPORTANT: Do not organize chainsaw brigades from your church. Chainsaw injuries are not covered by insurance.
Is ACSDR working in your area? Let us know if you see a story that needs to be told. We want to share what our great response teams are doing!
