CAMPOREE REGISTRATION
1
Buy Camporee Tickets
Everyone who plans to attend Camporee must have purchased tickets through the OFFICIAL Camporee website: www.camporee.org under a Carolina Conference club. All tickets should be reflected on the club account.
Click here for Camporee Ticket resale guidelines
2
YMMS Registration – Required For All Carolina Conference Pathfinder Clubs
Each individual attendee/Club will need to be registered in YMMS, through the club account.
By visiting www.nadyouth.com the club leadership NEEDS to register EVERYONE attending Camporee to the specific YMMS event (including parents, staff, Pathfinders, cooks, drivers, etc.). This will help us have an accurate list of who is attending, and make sure all adults attending from the Carolina Conference are background checked. This step is a REQUIREMENT to be allowed in through the gate.
Clubs must be registered in YMMS to have camping space and the number of people registered on YMMS must be equal to the quantity of tickets purchased on step 1, this will determine the space assigned to each club.

Background Checks (through Sterling Volunteers)
Every attendee ages 18+ by August 12th is required to be trained and to complete a Background Check through Sterling Volunteers , their results must show each staff member as “Eligible” on their Sterling "Report" for them to be able to register for the event and be approved through YMMS.
Background checks expire every three years. Every volunteer can check their Background Check status and confirm when it was taken by going to www.ncsrisk.org and logging into their account with their personal username and password, going to the left hand-side menu and clicking on "my report".

Please contact your local church Level 2 coordinator for a copy of the latest Compliance Report where you can verify if ALL of your Club Staff has been considered "Eligible" to begin serving in your club.
VOLUNTEERS AND INTERNATIONAL GUESTS
IS YOUR CLUB HOSTING SOMEONE FROM YOUR CHURCH WHO IS VOLUNTEERING WITH CYE?
After completing the volunteer application and background check (CYE will check their background check), they will be able to purchase specific volunteer tickets, and do not have to use general admission tickets from their club. Unlike regular attendee tickets, volunteer tickets will be purchased using their own personal accounts, and not the club account.
However, on the application they can still add their church, so their two tickets will be added to the report page for their club for the spacing calculations. It is recommended that Camporee volunteers camp with their church club, otherwise they will probably have to be in the tent overflow camping space. There will be a specific window at registration where they can come to get checked in, but they can come in through any gate, although the Columbia Union gate is the closest to the registration building.
IS YOUR CLUB HOSTING INTERNATIONAL GUESTS?
International Guest tickets are not the same as NAD tickets, the process for purchase and approval for International Guests is handled directly through the CYE, they must submit a special application through the Camporee website and get approved by the CYE team in charge of International guests.

For more info, Click Here.
The cost is $9.61 per individual with an additional $20 application fee.
A single application can have multiple individuals or clubs on it. Please plan accordingly by purchasing your coverage on one application as a group to avoid paying the application fee multiple times.
A medical form for each Child attending must be on their person at all times. To download the form, Click Here.
Reminder: this insurance is supplemental/secundary – that means that if an accident or injury does happen, the individual’s insurance would still be primary. The insurance clubs are buying is secondary , which means it helps with the medical bills AFTER the person’s insurance pays out whatever is within their coverage plan.

VOLUNTEER DRIVERS
ALL OUR VOLUNTEER DRIVERS MUST COMPLETE THE BACKGROUND CHECK SCREENING VERIFICATION THROUGH STERLING VOLUNTEERS.
The church has an obligation to know if volunteers have good driving records before they are allowed to drive minors for Pathfinder functions. The volunteer driver will need to select the role/position as a driver in SterlingVolunteer so that his/her driver’s record is requested.
Steps to follow for Driver Approval:
1
Fill out Drivers Questionnaire
Directors, please download and read the Volunteer Driver Questionnaire read the instructions found on the first page, and have your volunteer drivers fill out the second page of the file linked above.
2
Completed Sterling Volunteer background (MVR or DR type)
Complete an MVR or DR which is a background driving record through Sterling Volunteer and verify that you have been approved (“eligible” should appear in the result). In the case that the person already has a background check but does not have an MVR or DR listed in the Sterling report, they must contact Ellen Roberts at eroberts@carolinasda.org to request that they activate the option so that you can submit your request and have your driving records reviewed.
3
Add Driver's License Number and Questionnaire Answers to YMMS
4
Be Approved as Driver on YMMS
After having completed the steps above, please email varana@carolinasda.org with the full name of the volunteer driver to get approved in YMMS.
